Brand Scanner- SUPREME
Supreme grew to be the embodiment of the downtown culture, playing an integral part in its constant regeneration. Skaters, punks, hip-hop heads - the young counter culture at large - all gravitated towards Supreme.
While it grew into a downtown institution, Supreme established itself as a brand known for its quality, style and authenticity.
Over its nineteen year history, Supreme has worked with some of our generation's most groundbreaking designers, artists, photographers and musicians - all who have helped continue to define its unique identity and attitude.
The brand succesfully collaborated with big names such as Nike, Vans, The North Face, Comme des garçons (such a Frenchie name:P), Timberland and more(some work of collaborations below).

Personally, I have to admit, SUPREME is one of my favourite brands and when I'm trying to create a look aiming to show my associations with urban culture, SUPREME products perfectly do this job by making strong edgy statements. This post will be describing Supreme in general as well as giving some examples of some of its collabs so far, but I'm sure that I'll come back to the brand in my future posts.
Supreme x Comme des Garçons Capsule collection 2013
This collab definitely reminds me of my fav Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's and her obsessive vision of endless dots and nets. The pattern of her art was followed at the same time by the Luis Vuitton (official sponsor of the exhibition at TATE Modern Gallery in London last summer)who inspired by Kusama's art designed an entire collection of garments featuring obsessive dots. The exhibition was breathtaking and I was almost kicked out from the gallery for taking pictures and making movies(ignoring staff requests not to)like a psycho kid, after entering one of the dark rooms :P(even there I couldn't help my rule breaker nature !!).If you would like to see more about Kusama's exhibition click here and watch those two videos. You won't regret it,trust me!!! Anyway, where was I??? Ah...yeah Supreme, I'm sorry for this topic diversion. Yeah, let's have a look at the further collabs (hopefully, those won't remind me anything silly :P).
Supreme x Vans MC 2012
Supreme x Vans 2013 S/S Collection
Ok! I added this pic for the sake of post orders but to be completely honest I think that the result of this collab (in case of the above trainers) is simply gay. However, there is a story behind these beatiful roses how badly damaged by this ugly colour (pink, bleeeeeeh!!!!!). You can read about the whole concept here and if you follow the below comments, you might see somebody saying ''Man I swear Supreme is the only street wear company left that isn't afraid to take chances and release some wild unique shit. Like the print or not you gotta respect that''. And I abcolutely agree with that!! Supreme doesn't mind to take a challenge by experimenting and creating something unforgettable (those sneakers will surely stay in mind for long :P). Beatnic89 (quoted above)!!!You just won a pair of bikini and you never guess in what colour hehehe:P
Supreme x Nike
As if they needed an excuse to collaborate, Supreme has joined Nike Sportswear to commemorate the 30-year anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1. Featuring authentic NYCO fabric that is traditionally used to produce military outerwear, this sneaker made exclusively for Supreme is highly durable and water resistant.
