My Name Is My Name

Pusha T's official debut as a solo artist "My Name Is My Name" finally came out, in Kanye's Good Music. Probably Good Music is the best label which Pusha could choose to realese his long anticipated album (or has Push been chosen by Yeezus? who knows? :) ) Why? Because of one man... and his name is Mr. West. Yeezy is a an executive producer of Ton's LP and we can hear his influence on MNIMN. He produced a couple of tracks plus he did additional production on other producers beats. Music is minimalistic and the whole album is very cohesive, there is no weak track, each of them is on same high lyrically level as well as production. We've got twelve tracks and same number of featurings but... guests aren't on the first plan, they just give additional flavour and diversify. Push A Ton always plays first role. MNIMN begins with two powerful tunes "King Push" and "Numbers On The Boards" but there are also more emotional songs for example like "Hold On" with Rick Ross, personally it's one of my favourites. The Beat from "Hold On" was destined for Rick Ross but when Push came to Hawaii and heard beat in studio with Ross verse on it, he felt like a Rick just capture the emotion, he was so impressed that he jumped in it and recorded his verse.

PS. Maybe Pusha didn't choose Good Music, maybe somebody mentioned....
