Method Man, Freddie Gibbs, StreetLife - Built For This (ZETENA Remix)

Original tune is coming from OST "The Man With The Iron Fists", but this one is remixed by Polish producer, beatmaker, composer, drummer and even vocalist - ZETENA. When you listen to the first seconds of this beat and Mr. Mef on it with his characteristic flow and voice your head just automatically starts to nod to it. Voices and piano samples used in here gave to this track a great flavor. It has got this sort of feeling amongst "RZA & Kool G Rap - Cakes" and "Method Man & Redman - How High pt. 2". However, "Built for this" has darker and dirtier atmosphere than "How High pt. 2", it's definitely closer to "Cakes" and "Ghost Dog OST". Besides, Mr. Mef we have Freddie Gibbs and we already know that he can rap on trap beats as well as on sampled, smokey Madlib's productions. The third player, StreetLife has also done his job properly. Sometimes a remix is better than the original track and in this case that just happened. Summarising, great remix and I would love to hear Mr. Mef in this type of high quality productions more often.

I've already expressed my love for Air Max phenomenon in one of my very first posts (read it here). However, it would be a mistake not to mention about other models that kicked the market recently.

Every season Nike brings new designs that meet great volume of interest among sneaker lovers and fashion counscious individuals.

Therefore, I thought that it can be good to present other Air Max models for those whom these sneakers are significant part of the outfit.
 

 

 

Nike Air Max 90 Premium Duck Infra Camo *atmos exclusive

 

Model released in October the 5th in Tokyo and available from the same day at atmos. Camo motif, air cushion sole cap, black exotic Swoosh with  unsually seen Nike emblem frame.
I adore them badly!!
 

 

 

Nike Air Max PRM Black/Anthracite Volt

 

The color blocking concept. Anthracite grey paired with a flashy neon collar and bottom lining. Black premium leather and soft

One can say there is nothing interesting in these sneakers but they are serious bad boys and I bet they can create a strong presence in your look. Shortly speaking black sleek leather Swoosh meets classic red suede.

Nike Air Max 1 Gamma Blue/Brave Blue-Black Atomic Pink

This model presents quite interesting tri-tone color mixture. I know there is an accent of pink but it is accompanied by navy blue (we like navy blue, don't we?!) and kinda dark turquoise (man would just say light blue for the sake of life simplicity!).Trust me, you won't be judged wearing them:).

Nike Air Max 90 PRM Brave Blue/Atomic Pink

 



If you are a regular guy I wouldn't even look at these sneakers. I wouldn't look at them if you wanna go for a walk neither. These are definitely not created for everyday wear as Air Max 90 Brave Blue/Atomic Pink has been made of soft suede in intriguing tone of blue and pink combo. Not the most common combination but it damn works and gives an impression that the sneakers are made for bad boys. This model is available here.

The last one, with girls in mind in elegant black. White sole for contrast. Pure beauty!!I take it!!!

Deniro Farrar

 

 

He's definitely not one of the most famous rappers...yet. He's not the guy who raps about bullshit, his cars or hoes. And finally he's not the one who follows any hip hop trends...he creates one- CULT RAP. And this is how Deniro calls his Deniro wave- cult rap era.

 

''Cult Rap touches on the struggle, Cult Rap touches on politics. To sum it up it's reality rap, rap with a lot of reality, a lot of characteristics of poverty-stricken living. Music, that isn't forced upon the masses. That's what Cult Rap is,you have to keep up with it'', explains the artist in one of his interviews.

 

And, there is nothing more to add. After listening a couple of his tracks, my first impression was: this music sounds hell real!!And more, it reminds me of the beginnings of Polish hip hop, which I started to listen as a teenager-to-be. And you know what? I find it so authentic and I remember that at that time I was shaping my moral rules upon to listening a real life rap.

TEPHRA FALL/WINTER 2013

TEPHRA FALL/WINTER ''House of Lords'' Lookbook

Tephra, derived from Greek τέφρα ,meaning ash or Broken by fire is drawing inspiration from 19th century Western Indian culture and relativism.
 

London-based street clothing brand Tephra has released its newest Fall/Winter 2013 collection. The unisex range consists of oversized T-shirts, some present graphic elements, other with bold  digital prints, alongside bomber jackets and hoodies that utilise a use of uncommon fabrics and embelishments. More products will be released later on this autumn.

While clearly inspired by streetwear, Tephra's interesting use of prints and textures mean the brand stands out from many of its urban counterparts.

Daniel Sewell, perhaps, better known by his artistic name as Danny Brown. The Detroit, Michigan, born rapper is famous from his unique and vivid individuality.

Not afraid to admit his weakness to smoking marihuana, so do other rappers. However, his rap dreams came true along with several other drug addictions, for instance, Adderall. The drug cointaining amphetamine and dextroamphetamine together, is commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy and in case of the artist, probably helped him to life his rock-star like lifestyle.

Brown,even raps about his addiction in ''Adderall Admiral'', from his ''XXX'' album:

''Eatin on an Adderall,wash it down with alcohol

Writin holy mackerel actual or fractual (...)''

''I got to the point when I was just taking Adderall to work on music, then it got to the point where I wanted to take Adderall to stay up late and party'',said Brown.

Danny's latest album was released in the end of September and it was orginally meant to be called ''ODB'' in regards to Ol' Dirty Bastards, the man who has definitely put an impact on Brown's twisted style. 

Eventually, the album is named ''OLD'', and it has been recorded in a collab with artists such as Rustie, Kitty Pride, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul to name a few. What's more interesting in ''OLD'' you can also hear A-Track, the owner of the Fool's Gold Records that the album is coming from.
