Life Is Good

It's time to write about one of the greatest rappers ever - Nasir "Esco, Nasty, Nas" Jones. It's really hard to choose the best tracks from his huge and supreme discography, this is why I decided to concentrate on Nasty's latest album "Life Is Good", which may be not his best album but it's still Nas with a dope flow and characteristic for him lyrics. Album definitely is not weak, rugged, tight tracks like "Loco-Motive", "The Don" and very personally like "Daughers", "Bye Baby" or "Reach Out" plus "Nasty" - classic New York breakbeat track with scratches without chorus. These tunes, undoubtebly are the core strenght of this album. Nas said that "Life Is Good" is his "Here, My Dear" because as Marvin Gaye was appraising from his marriage with Anna Gordy, he is appraising from marriage with Kelis. Despite of problems with IRS ("Reach Out", "Loco-Motive") and divorce, Nas is saying "Life Is Good"! So hold on, be strong and no matter what LIFE IS GOOD.
PS. On the cover "Life Is Good" Nas is holding wedding dress of his ex-wife.
